XTR-ZB1-xLI modules, has features standards-based IEEE 802.15.4, and ZigBee networking protocols.
It works on ISM 2.4 GHz and it is suits for low-powerapplications, thanks to chances to use networks nodes as signal repeaters.
XTR-ZB1-xLI use a DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) technique that gives the opportunity to operate in even the most hard-to-access places, and strongly reduces the interferences due to the narrowband signals.
XTR-ZB1-xLI can be connected to an external microcontroller through a serial interface that permit to sends commands for network management, and for the data packets transmission (see the "Commands User Manual for XTR-ZB1").
XTR-ZB1-xLI is equipped with a PIFA antenna (Planar Inverted F Antenna) that permit to the device to reach an ERP TX Power equal to 0 dBm, giving the chance to cover an open-space field of 70 meters.

XTR-ZB1-xHE zigbee radio module, has features standards-based IEEE 802.15.4, and ZigBee networking protocols. It works on ISM 2.4 GHz and it is suits for low-power, long-range applications, thanks to chances to use networks nodes as signal repeaters.
It use a DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) technique that gives the opportunity to operate in even the most hard-to-access places, and strongly reduces the interferences due to the narrowband signals.
XTR-ZB1-xHE can be connected to an external microcontroller through a serial interface that permit to sends commands for network management, and for the data packets transmission (see the "Commands User Manual for XTR-ZB1").
XTR-ZB1-xHE is equipped with a SMA connector that permit an external antenna connection.
RF power to the connector is equal to 13 dBm and the ERP TX power is given by the gain of the used antenna.
